The students at Monsters University started submitting their own Throwback Thursday pictures yesterday. Though Thursday has come and gone, you can submit your own Throwback Thursday picture to become part of an exclusive Monsters University collage over at Pixar’s Yahoo! Movies hub. In addition, you can follow the throwbacks on Twitter at #MonstersUTBT. When you’re done, don’t forget to study up on your scaring over the weekend - we hear there’s a quiz next week.

bowlerbitrate: Optimus Primer -2013 This may be my masterpiece, Optimus Prime is my idol and has been since childhood, seriously. He always looked so powerful, he could beat anyone in a fight, anyone, the only reason he died was because of that little prick, hot rod. But yet he doesn’t, whereas Superman can fit in as Clark Kent, and mill around with everyone else, OP is still a truck when he transforms, a great, big massive truck, billowing smoke and overflowing with horsepower. Everything about him is big and menacing, yet he is the most kind and noble robot ever created, he cares for all life. When Batman meets a villian he will often fight them, even if there is a chance that they might surrender. Optimus would always stop and beg his adversaries to stop, not surrender, but just stop for the sake of everyone else. He’s a being that has zero interest in fighting, but must for the sake for his, and other species.  Here’s to you, my Hero.
